Hello,
I am creating Exchange 2013 Lab with 1 Domain Controller (2 NIC, 1 with dynamic IP, second with static IP address), Exchange Server 2013 (Also 2 NIC, 1 dynamic 1 static IP), and Windows 8 (2 NIC also). I am using Hyper-V on my Server 2012. Internally everything works. My ISP is Verizon fios. I created one send connector and configured it with Smart Host from Verizon Fios. It works perfectly ( I can send emails to outside world). However i am not able to receive any emails from outside. I purchased a domain from Go Daddy, and changed the Ahost to IP address I get when I google "What is my IP", thinking this is my DNS External address. For CNAME I left them default. For MX record I only left mail.mydomain.com. These settings were recommended by Go Daddy personnel. I opened port 25 on my firewall. I also made sure anonymous was checked on all my receive connectors. Verizon customer service says that no ports are blocked. When running connectivity test I get that port 25 is either blocked or not listening. If anybody has any ideas on what I set up incorrectly please let me know.
