Hello All,
I have a distribution list I use for my work group that we use to send each other e-mail without having to type in everyone's individual address. This list exists on the server, it is not the same thing as an Outlook Contact Group. I add members to the list using OWA. Today I asked another work unit to add our entire list to their daily reports distribution, but the owner refused, saying he wanted to manage the list himself because if one of the addresses went bad in my list (i.e. a person left the company and their address was no longer valid) then he would get bounce backs that he couldn't control.
That sounds...incorrect. I would assume Exchange would resolve the addresses first, and if they fail then the message would just never send.
How does Exchange handle this situation?
