We are currently running hybrid exchange server 2013 with Office 365.
As the administrator, we need to have a policy that could block user of creating rule of email redirection of forwarding from their outlook. the reason is because there was a case whereby there are automatic forwarding or redirecting of email from "A mailbox" to "B mailbox" as user create a local outlook rule in the "A mailbox" by using his outlook client. From the server and office 365 portal, i can't see any forwarding rules configured at all. i tried to login to OWA and check, but there is nothing also. at the end, i create the profile of the "A mailbox" in the outlook client and i found that there is a local rule created of redirecting "A mailbox" emails to "B mailbox" and this is not reflected on the server at all.
may i know whether is it possible for me to prevent this to happen as rules or email forwarding creation should be performed from the server? or maybe any other ways we could detect local email forwarding rules by running ps command from server?
